A medieval bishop capturing a pagan deity in a glossary?
Cormac's Glossary is where we get the idea of the three sisters, all called Brigid. (Frankly, I would've thought the Dagda had a better imagination)
This is also where we get the Poet, Smith and Healer, we are all so familiar with. But what was Cormac basing his glossary on? Who was Cormac? Can we say he was a historical figure? Or a figment of someone's imagination?

Órlagh is an Irish Pagan Catholic, working most of the time with Irish Brigid, but sure the rest of the family drop in as they wish, as well. Órlagh works with energy, whether reiki, reflexology or her own Brigidine practices. She has a strong interest in the Irish language, speaking it, using it, learning more of it and considers it a vital part of an Irish Pagan practice (or indeed any interest in getting to know Ireland in general!)
